FIRST DUE HIGH RISE

A Shift- At 19:57hrs units from the 6th Battalion and the City of Alexandria were dispatched to box 1192 at 5840 Cameron Run Terrace for fire reported from the 10th floor. Company 11 units arrived on scene and reported fire showing from the 10th floor  and requested a second alarm.

As units arrived and took there pre assigned assignment Rescue 11 located the fire in apartment 1011 forcing entry finding a vacant apartment with fire around the heating unit. Command (BFC406) had all second alarm units stage on the service road holding personal on there units. Rescue 11 reported fire knocked down with a water can and suggested holding to 2-1 . Once command received a report from the companies working above in apartment 1111 that they had no extension command held E411,205,T411,R411 releasing the rest of the first alarm and second alarm companies.

1st Alarm: E201,204,409,207,T411,R411A411,M409,EMS406,EMS402,BFC406,BFC212

2ND Alarm: E411,424,209,TL405,M204,LA437,CAN422,DFCO

*E411 was on an ALS call when this box was dispatched and was unable to clear until the 2nd alarm
