B Shift: At 22:39hrs units from the 6th Battalion and the City of Alexandria Fire department were dispatched to 2000 Huntington Ave fire box 1192 for the reported High Rise fire. Caller reported alarm activation with smoke coming from the top of the door in apartment 824. E411(Capt Matthews) arrived on scene with a 15 story High Rise with smoke showing from side Charlie. As units arrived and took there pre assigned positions Command was established by BFC406 at his buggy. Engine and Truck 411 made there way up to the 8th floor and located the fire apartment reporting food on the stove. Command held company 11 units to ventilate the apartment and released the rest of the first due assignment.
